This chart outlines the weekly time in training required of beginner and advanced students at Denton Taekwondo Academy. Like all other things in life, you get out of martial arts training just what you put in to it! However, if you are willing to devote even the minimum amount of time, you can still achieve your personal goals in taekwondo.

Classes

It is important to attend class and pay attention to exact details of the techniques being taught. Pay particular attention when the instructor explains a problem that you are having. This will greatly enhance your Personal Workouts.

Personal Workouts

It is mandatory for students to allot certain periods of time during the week to work out on their own. Taekwondo America study guides are a valuable tool in assisting personal workouts.

Concentration

Concentration is meditation or whatever you call the time spent relaxing and focusing your mind on how the techniques are performed. Going through the technique mentally makes your physical recall (Body Memory) much more spontaneous.
