Class Schedule for Yellow Belt Adults

Yellow Belt Study Guide—"Enlightenment"

Major Objectives

• To better understand the White Belt Fundamentals and Testing Procedure.

• To learn the Keys to Perfect Technique and practice them in training.

• 8th grade students will demonstrate Yellow Belt One-Steps numbers 1 - 3, and Dan Gun Form.

Dan Gun Form is named after the holy Dan-Gun, the legendary founder of Korea in the year 2333 B.C.

• 7th grade students will demonstrate Yellow Belt One-steps numbers 4 - 6, and Do-San Form.

Do-San is the pseudonym of the patriot Ahn Chang-Ho. The 24 movements represent his entire life, which he devoted to furthering the education of Korea and its independence movement.

• The concept of Spinning Techniques is introduced in One-steps, and should be practiced in mirror drills.

Stretch correctly to achieve maximum benefits and to avoid injury. Students should not only work out in two structured classes per week, but should also learn how to Practice Perfect in personal workouts.
